Gerardo Perrotta

Gerardo Perrotta was born in Paola (Cosenza), in the Calabria region, the "boot" of Italy.

Though everyone is very impressed with Gerardo's master's degree in Public Administration and Bachelor in Biological Sciences from the University of Cincinnati, he is best known as Mariateresa's chaffeur for many, many years as she doesn't like to drive at night (or on the highways or anywhere unfamiliar). Finally he decided it was easier to simply join the teaching staff in 2007 rather than spend all that time waiting for his wife in the parking lot.

Gerardo's family immigrated to the USA when he was a teenager to join relatives in the clothing business. He works at the University of Cincinnati as coordinator for Pathology Residency and Medical Students programs.

His hobbies include philately, reading, and music.
