This course is designed for those who already have a good knowledge of the Italian grammar. The goal is the improvement of comprehension, vocabulary and conversational skills, studying more complex grammatical structures, idiomatic expressions, refined vocabulary.

The ability of communicating will be mostly developed through group discussions on various topics, or commenting stories, articles or events.

Most of the lessons aim to develop confidence in performance of listening, speaking and reading, using the textbook as a guiding tool and for review. Some elements of advanced grammar are reviewed.

Fluent Italian is spoken by the teacher and among students in class. A preliminary telephone conversation will be conducted with these students to determine if their language fluency is appropriate for this class.
