Tuition
It must be paid in full by the indicated due date. Payment absolutely cannot be delayed beyond the first lesson.
Registration without full payment of the tuition DOES NOT guarantee a seat in class.
Seating is limited, therefore enrollment in all courses is on a first-come, first-served basis.
School AMICI reserves the rigth to cancel this registration if payment is not received within the due date.
Payment can be made by cash, check or money order (payable to AMICI).
Do not mail cash with this form.
Credit cards are not accepted. Discounts, partial or pro-rated payments are not allowed.
Refund and Credit
A full refund of the tuition can be obtained if a student withdraws at least one week before the course starts.
No refund may be made anytime thereafter. One can choose to use the refund as a credit for registering in the following
session. The credit is forfeited if not used within 6 months, and it is not transferable.
It will not be possible to obtain a partial refund for missed or canceled lessons.
Cancellation of a Course
Courses that do not have a sufficient enrollment are subject to cancellation. In this case one can transfer to another class or take a credit for a future course or receive a full refund of the fee.
Cancellation of a lesson or Change of Day
The school reserves the right to cancel a lesson should it be necessary due to severe weather or other exceptional circumstances, such as an unexpected absence of the teacher. Each student should provide a daytime phone number where he/she can be reached in case such event occurs. If a class is cancelled, we will make every effort to contact all students in a timely fashion. An e-mail will also be sent to those who provide an address. It is not possible to make up a canceled lesson on another date.
Occasionally lessons may be moved to a different day of the week due to unavailability of classrooms.
Change of a Course
Only during the first week of the session a student may request to the school director to move to another course (upper or lower level), provided that seats are still available in that course.
Certificate of Achievement
A student is eligible for a Certificate of Achievement upon passing a written test at the end of the course. This test is optional and is not required in order to enroll in a higher course level.
Smoking, Eating and Phone
No smoking is permitted on school’s premises. Food and beverages are prohibited in all classrooms.
The use of cellular phones during the lesson is strictly limited to emergencies.
Location and Parking
5th floor of the Rookwood Tower, on 3805 Edwards Road, Cincinnati (in Norwood).
Covered and uncovered parking is available for free.
Hours of Operation
Classrooms will be open on Wednesday at 6:15pm. Lessons are from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.
The building doors are automatically locked at 7:00pm and no access is possible after that time.
